Mish Ann Photography

Hello and welcome!

I’m Mish Ann, a photographer living in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

I have loved the art and craft of all things photographic ever since my father gave me a small film camera when I was eight years old. I don’t remember the name of the camera - I just remember the wonder and magic of making photographs. The love of light has stayed with me all my life. Light for me is a spiritual entity. I seek it out and find bits of it just about everywhere I look, but especially in the natural world…I am forever looking.

Having taken classes and workshops at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, I’ve worked with film, digital and cyanotype mediums and have photographed in Black and White, in Color and Infrared.

My work has been shown at the Hope Gallery of Art at Boston University, the Berta Golahny Awards and the Belmont Gallery of Art in Belmont, Massachusetts.  Also, at the University Place Gallery and the Kathryn Schultz Gallery both in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I am a member of the Cambridge Art Association.
